Toyota Takes Early Lead in 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans

Toyota led the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race after nine hours on Sunday with Japanese driver and 2022 winner Ryo Hirakawa at the wheel of the #7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid. Hirakawa leads a 1-2-3 formation for Toyota with Mike Conway and Jose Maria Lopez in second and Sebastien Buemi and Brendon Hartley in third.

92nd 24 Hours of Le Mans to Feature Big-Name Manufacturers' Return

The 92nd 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place from 12-16 June 2024 and will see the return of some big-name manufacturers to the Hypercar class. Peugeot, Ferrari, and Cadillac will all field cars in the top class for the first time in several years, while Porsche will make its return to the LMP2 class with a new 963 LMDh car.

2024 24 Hours of Le Mans Field Announced

The 62-car field for this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans has been announced, with cars from all four classes of the FIA World Endurance Championship set to compete. Toyota, Peugeot, and Glickenhaus will all field two cars in the Hypercar class, while Porsche, Prema, and Vector Sport will each field one car. The LMP2 class will be the largest with 27 cars entered, while the LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am classes will have 13 and 20 cars respectively.
